Abstract Sculpture -
pure form in space -
is an ongoing interest.
I celebrate the interplay of curved and planar forms and of solid versus void. Commissions for "Ursa Major" and "Sphinx" are the outstanding works, if only in size. My efforts are usually on a smaller scale, and then some of them merge into explorations of container forms.

My contribution to the long, long story of the human image in sculpture. I try to use the canons of proportion and harmony that have guided other sculptors to create their masterpieces, birth ancient and modern. All are inspirations for me, and I am delighted by how representational art opens up realms of fantasy and storytelling that go back to childhood.
